Saving Senior Cats- vulnerable population

Hi to all of our amazing supporters. My name is lindsay and I run this Instagram account for Frankie’s feline fund. FFF is a rescue focused solely on senior cats. The most vulnerable population of cats if you ask my opinion. This incredible rescue, which is truly one of a kind, is run single-handedly by an incredible woman named Bunny. every day Bunny receives emails, text, phone calls from both shelters and individuals begging for her help. Can you help this senior cat before they’re euthanized tomorrow; if you can’t take my cat I’m going to put them out on the street; there was a hoarding situation and now 20+ cats need homes. These are the pleas for help she receives on a daily basis. Personally I can’t imagine the emotional toll it takes on her. I don’t think many of us can. Not being able to save every single cat when she knows that she is their last hope. Blind, diabetic, can you disease. She takes them all. As a result she stretches herself far too thin. She Says yes when she has no money, no fosters, and when she’s already close to 10,000 in debt with just one of her vets. This morning I received a text from her that says she just lost yet another cat sitting client. Please understand that other than her retirement this is her only source of income. And I thought to myself, how can I help? So I’m turning to you guys. Because bunny needs your help now. I want to surprise Bunny with a fundraiser. I want us to give her the money she’s so desperately needs to continue her incredible, selfless work. I’m starting a fundraiser with a $7500 goal. Is that a lot? Hell yes. But if we don’t do it Bunny has to find the money for this all in her own.
