Saving Sage - In need of life-saving surgery

This is Sage.

 

Sage is the wonderful two-year old gem of a soul who belongs to two of my dearest friends. Ayla and Jordan have spent countless hours nurturing Sage in her development into a fine young pup who is both the most cuddly and obedient dog I have ever known.

 

Sage was struck by a vehicle on Memorial Day. Thanks to her owners' immediate attention (with gracious help of the driver who was operating the vehicle that struck Sage), Sage is still with us.

 

 

At the time of writing this, Sage has had life-saving care costing just shy of $10,000. While Sage is "covered" by insurance, this is double what they cover and Sage will need at least another $3,000 for hip surgery and $2,800 for continued care.
