Saving Roxy - Medical Expenses

Before we even start to tell Roxys Health Complication, Ashley & I (Jarrad) are very selfless in asking for help especially when coming to money and would never ask or put the burden on anybody!

Even just a thought for Roxy in this time is enough, but any donation to help cover her large medical expenses would be so grateful.

Roxy was fighting fit the night of Friday when we went to bed.

She was alittle restless with her sleep that night but nothing out of the crazy unusual.

Saturday morning she was alittle lethargic and wasn't interested in food or showing any attention. That evening she wasn't showing any signs of getting better so we took her to the 24hr emergency, she under went blood tests, pain relief/ fluid injections.

She returned home for rest as it was assumed she had stomach pain from a bad meal the night before.

She had a painfull and restless night and become worse in the morning.

We monitored her during the day hoping for alittle progress in getting better but she deteriorated rapidly showing extreme pain, and little to no movement.

We admitted Roxy back to emergency, a long wait and many tests.. the news was presented to us with the potential of her having Meningitis, something we never anticipated ever!

Roxy stayed overnight for extreme pain relief and to be transferred to a Neurological Hospital for extensive testing.

This morning we transferred her to the Medical center where she is currently undergoing extensive testing including , MRI screening, blood tests, and Spinal Fluid sampling - all for diagnosing the Meningitis type.

We have every finger crossed and prayers that Roxys test come back the best possible where we can manage her diagnosis.

We just want our beautiful girl back, she is already so missed! And never want to see that pain she's gone though again, it's absolutely heart breaking.

Everybody knows vet bills in general are expensive, and for all the medications she's recieved already just to try and keep her in a comfortable state has already been enormous on funds, now we are facing Neurological costs which unfortunately are very expensive , and already face in excess of $10,000.

It's so hard to put a cost on saving a family & Roxy is only 8 months old and has just begun her amazing life.. 

We are currently waiting on her tests to see how we treat this horrible disease and will update everyone on this page with her travels.
