Supporting our Superwoman (Emily SanNicolas Taijeron)

On Friday, May 17, we had something happen that we didn’t expect. What was meant to be a relaxing visit with family, quickly turned. Earlier in the day our mommom felt faint and dizzy, we never could have imagined what would happen just a few hours later. We rushed her to the ER where they confirmed she had a stroke. Due to the lack of medical capabilities on Fort Riley, she was medevac’d to University Of Kansas Medical Center, KC.

Now our family bears the expense of the treatment at both facilities and the cost of the medevac airlift. We are having to stay in KC until our mommom is better and that comes with a need for a rental to house us.

If you know mommom, then you know that she wouldn’t just be asking, she will be there working hard and cooking up a storm, taking care of everyone.

We kindly ask for any donation amount that you are able to give, even if it’s $1 or a share. The donations will help to cover the cost for her ongoing care and recovery therapy.
