Saving our Football Program! Saving our children!

Hello, last week a photo of Mastbaum football team was circulating social media, it reached the EAGLES COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT TEAM as they were tagged man times (praying something good comes from that as they reached out to the coach) This photo evoked a feeling and need to help in many of us. We reached out to the Coach for clarification. The team does have practice jerseys and they were granted permission yesterday to continue to play this season. After speaking to Coach, the team is in NEED of much more. We hope to raise as much money as possible to help our Football Program keep the kids safe. The team is being rebuilt without the necessary safety equipment from helmets and pads to needing training equipment. In the past Mastbaum football was an outlet as well as an opportunity for many of our guys to earn scholarships! We have some Alumnus who went to the NFL and others who are now CEO's and Entrepreneurs. This group of young men deserve the same opportunity! WE ASK FOR THE VIOLENCE TO STOP IN OUR COMMUNITY...THIS IS A START WE CAN SAVE LIVES. THEY WANT TO PLAY FOOTBALL, THEY SHOW UP FOR PRACTICE, WE NEED TO SHOW UP FOR THEM! Panthers stick together and take PRIDE IN OUR SCHOOL.

I have offered my time for the rest of the season to man the concession stand to raise money and come up with varies fundraisers over this school year. I would need donations for the concession stand (chips, drinks, etc).

This Gofundme is for the team! I created it so everyone can see donations and progress so we may meet and exceed our goal. Also, hoping everyone will share and we get Coach Derrick and team what they need to be safe and successful playing the sport they love.

The team need helmets, shoulder pads, and girdles IMMEDIATELY! I have been reaching out to other school districts asking if they can donate equipment and called every sporting company in the area. No one has helmets and pads.

Please help No donation is too small!
