Saving our family neighborhood Gym

During this unprecedented time we have witnessed so many small businesses close.  Businesses that are dear to our heart and important to our community.  Currently Gymnastics Dreams in Livonia is unable to receive Federal help to pay rent that is required to keep our neighborhood gym open, once we are allowed to return.  Gymnastics Dreams is our gym, our 2nd home and our family.  With the stay at home order our 2nd home has been forced to close.  Diane Coccia, owner and head coach is so much more than a business owner she is a mentor to our children.  She provides stability to their lives, confidence, believes in them and gives them a loving environment to believe in themselves.  Diane started her dream to open a gym 6 years ago.  She has seen ups and downs to her dream gym but never gave up!  Prior to closing she had planned a fund raiser for  a family that belong to her gym who had lost their home in a fire.  She purchased a lot of the fundraiser items herself.  She cares so much  about other people, inside and outside of her gym.  Not only does Diane give to her gym families but to the community.  She also sponsors many activities of her neighborhood Elementary School, Kennedy, her children attend in Livonia.  

We are coming together to help her keep the gym, something that is so dear to not only my daughter's heart but the hearts of so many children who have visited.  Diane has given so much to other people in her life and I am hoping we can give back to her.
