Hi, my name is Osito. I am 2 years old and I am a Tibetan Mastiff.

I was recently diagnosed with Idiopathic Chylothorax. This is a chronic disease where I have fluid building up in my chest cavity because of an issue with my lymphatic system. When the fluid builds up too much, it puts a lot of pressure on my lungs and heart and makes it really hard for me to breathe. Eventually, the fluid will build up so much that I won't be able to breathe and my organs will start to shut down. I am already feeling my body starting to slow down. I dont eat very much these days because I dont have a lot of energy. I know I'm underweight, but I'm not just hungry like I used to be, because of my disease.

Now, there isn't a cure for my disease because they don't know what's causing the fluid build up, but there is a surgery available to help me get back to feeling like a pup again! Unfortunately, the surgery is too expensive for my mom to afford on her own and she needs your help. I'm not ready to go away quite yet. I have a lot more exploring I need to do and memories I need to make with my mom, and I can only do that with your help!
