Saving my little girl Oishi life

Hi, my name is Natalie,

I’m fundraising for Oishi. Oishi is my cat. When I adopted her from a shelter one year ago, she was the runt of the litter and was so tiny and weak. She has grown into a healthy and beautiful member in my family, alongside her 2 brothers. She is a lovable, sweet and amazing cat. She comes up to me when I finish work, welcomes me home, and snuggles next to me at night. She looks at me with intelligence and understanding when I talk to her and she follows me around the house when I’m doing chores.

2 weeks ago during the Xmas holidays, I saw that she suddenly seemed to be putting on weight, her stomach started swelling and she had much less energy than usual. I took her to the vet, and the vet told me she had a complicated situation, and referred me to a specialist at the animal hospital. These two consultations drained most of my savings as I am originally from Vietnam, am working at Starbucks and spending most of my salary on rent and food.

The specialist has now told me that Oishi is seriously unwell but cannot diagnose her exact illness without a whole set of further tests, followed by whatever treatment is necessary. I’m happy to spend whatever money I have to make my fur baby healthy again but the estimated bill was a shock because it is several thousand dollars which I cannot just conjure out of thin air.

My heart is broken every time I look at her because day by day her body keeps getting more and more bloated with fluid and the vet still can’t tell me what is wrong with her without further testing. I have had a stressful life and am already supporting my elderly parents back in Vietnam.

I feel so depressed and in despair when I think about my lovely cat who is my friend and my family here in Aus. I don’t want to see her suffer through a sickness like this and if there is any chance of saving her I want to be able to pay for every test required to identify her health problem and then treat it!

Every moment I look at her my heart is broken. I know I don’t have enough money to pay for all these tests to save her life but I don’t want to lose my beloved pet so I’m asking for help saving Oishi's life. I’ll deeply appreciate your help for the rest of my life!
