Saving my eyes, to save my sight

Donation protected
In the quaint settlement of Bain and Grant’s Town, on the island of New Providence Bahamas, lives a fun-loving, caring lady who enjoys people and life.  She always gives unselfishly to assist family, friends and even strangers.  Brenda Lee Deleveaux  helps the elderly in her community and assists the sick and shut in.  She is a single mother of one lovely daughter and two beautiful grandchildren.  Brenda enjoys teaching and sincerely believes in Psalm 127:3. Children are rewards from God, so we must follow his word to truly cherish his gifts. .. and cherish her students, she does.  Her students absolutely love her and enjoy the times they spend together. Unfortunately, .Brenda is unable to teach at this time and in need of our help.

On October 30th, 2020 Brenda woke unable to see anything out of her right eye.  After visiting the ophthalmologist she learned she had developed cataract in her eyes.  She was also told that the right eye had what is called Dense Cataract and that the left eye is in its early stages of deteriorating as a result of cataract.  It was advised that immediate surgery is required in the right eye and the left eye will also require surgery very soon.  The cost for surgery on both eyes is estimated at $20,000.00.

Brenda was unable to continue working due to the pandemic and therefore used all of savings for living expenses.  Up to this point, Brenda is still unemployed and seeking assistance from anyone who can, and are willing to help.
