I’m writing this with a really heavy heart. My sweet 3-year-old Maine Coon, Gao-Gao, is seriously ill and fighting for his life.

He’s not just a pet — he’s the part of my family. Every time I come home, he’s there at the door, meowing happily like he’s been waiting all day. He brings me so much love and comfort. But now, he’s quiet, weak, and clearly in pain.

A few days ago, he was diagnosed with FLUTD, Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease - a dangerous and life-threatening condition. If not treated urgently, it can and has led to bladder blockage, and in more severe cases, kidney failure and even death.

So far, I’ve done everything I can — Gao-Gao has already gone through emergency bladder flushing and initial treatments. But now, he needs hospitalization, catheterization, around-the-clock care, and medication to recover — and the cost is far more than I can manage on my own.

I never thought I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this, but I just can’t give up on him. He’s only 3 years old. He deserves more time, more cuddles, more life.
