Saving Moe with horrible Face Injury!

This sweet cat we call Moe was found injured in a local shopping plaza begging for food and crying! He has a horrible infected injury that appears to be a puncture wound to the face from a instrument. He has started on strong antibiotics but will need further vetting, ex-rays and surgery to save his eye . He is underweight, we do not know how  long he was out there, but he is eating okay now and we are giving him extra calorie canned food! He is a very sweet cat and try's to rub his injured face on yours breaks your heart!
