Miss Pittie was found as a stray and turned into the Town of Stockton, NY dog control. She is suffering from uterine prolapse and was not claimed by her owner. Once her hold time was up she was surrendered to NYS Weimaraner Rescue. I realize she is not a weimaraner but she is a dog that truly needs help, as a black pitt mix the odds are not in her favor. This is life or death for her. Please help us raise the funds to get her medical care, and to keep her safe until we can find an amazing forever home for her because this girl deserves it!

Casper was believed to be dumped and at large for 6 days until the local dog control officer contacted a professional trapper to get him to safety. Great Dames Trap and recover thankfully were able to successfully and safely trap him and get him into the hands of our local dog control officer who lovingly cared for him for days yet no one came forward to claim him. He appeared to have eaten rocks, was skin and bones and infested with ticks. Since his owner never came looking for him, he is here with us. He will be vetted and put up for adoption once healthy.
