Savig medical and Emergency assistance

Hi. I'm Jamie and I am raising money to assist Sheri and Colleen "pip" Savig to help with medical bills after Pip was in an accident Tuesday April 16, 2024 on her way home from work. This fundraiser will help with medical and other bills while Sheri is with Pip at the hospital. As the time passes, we will see more medical expenses as well as Sheri unable to run her business as usual.

In 17 hours everything in life can rapidly change. Last night Jon saw on Omaha Scanner a single car accident within a few miles of our house. After multiple attempts to get in touch with Pip he jumped in the truck for us to realize we were seriously living through this nightmare. Pip was extracted from her car and loaded up. She was taken via squad to UNMC and intubated while in the squad. There is nothing more horrifying then walking into the ER and saying my child is here somewhere and they take you to a consult room. The chaplain was the first person to come talk to us.

I have very little details on the accident. Her list of injuries is incredibly long.

She has a massive brain injury. They removed part of her skull to give it room to swell. They removed her spleen. She has some injuries to her liver and kidney that will heal. She has fractures on L4 and L5, a fractured hip, and her nose. She also has a terrible hair cut. This will a very very long road to recovery, months for sure.
