Saving Martin's life

Martin is a very sweet 4-year-old boy who was diagnosed with Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma in August 2016 with confirmed relapse/recurrent disease in September 2017. Martin's treatment was initiated in Germany as our native country of Ukraine does not have a medical system advanced enough to provide specialists for the type of pediatric cancer Martin developed. Of course, this treatment was done entirely at our own expense with personal loans from generous friends and family. Martin was released from the German protocol following his relapse in September of 2017.
Following a business opportunity for Martin's father, the entire family has relocated to Reno, NV as we felt the United States could offer better treatment for our son. During his treatment in the United States, Martin has been unable to obtain commercial insurance, thus as his parents, we have had to pay much of his treatment costs out of pocket. This has obviously created significant financial hardship for our family. On top of financial difficulties, Martin's prognosis is poor without continued treatment. He is eligible for a clinical trial at Stanford Lucile Packard's Children's Hospital in San Francisco, CA, however, his lack of insurance or a payor source has thus far excluded him from this opportunity.
The last treatment which Martin received was in June, 2018 and it has been two months since then. It is desperately needed that he starts a trial as soon as possible in order to hopefully prevent this disease from taking our precious son. We pray we can find a successful trial treatment that will put our son in remission so we can return home with a healthy child, but we can no longer handle the expense on our own. Any contributions will be greatly appreciated to help save our child's life.
