Hi, my name is Omar, and I’m desperately asking for help to save my cat’s life.

He needs emergency surgery immediately, or he won’t make it. He hasn’t eaten in three days and has been vomiting up even the little water he tries to drink. He’s getting weaker by the hour, and I’m terrified of losing him. The vet has told me he needs surgery as soon as possible, but I just don’t have the money to cover it.

I’ve called every vet I can—charity clinics can’t see him until next week, and by then, it will be too late. Private vets are quoting between £3,000 and £5,000, which I simply can’t afford. We never had insurance because we never imagined something like this would happen.

We think he accidentally swallowed some foam blocks he found, and now they’re stuck inside him, causing unbearable pain. He’s just lying there, too sick to move, and I feel completely helpless.

We nearly lost him once before—he somehow managed to get out of the house, and after two agonising days of searching, we finally found him a couple of streets away. The thought of losing him again, this time forever, is unbearable.

I never thought I’d be in a situation where I’d have to ask strangers for help, but right now, I have no other option. If you can spare anything at all, it could mean the difference between life and death for him. Please, if you can help in any way, I would be forever grateful.
