Loki Needs Emergency Help
Hello- My name is Liz. I am the niece of Jim and Michelle Feiszli. Their dog Loki needs our help.
What started as a routine knee surgery has turned into a life‑threatening crisis their boy, Loki. His incision wouldn’t stop bleeding, even after an extra night in the hospital. When they brought him home, things spiraled fast—he began bleeding again in the car, and within two hours his leg was extremely swollen, bruised, and in danger.
They rushed him to another emergency hospital, where he’s now fighting for his life. He’s receiving plasma transfusions and medications to help his blood clot, and the vets believe he may have Von Willebrand’s disease, a serious bleeding disorder common in Dobermans. On top of that, he’s now battling compartment syndrome, which puts his life at even greater risk.
These treatments are our last chance before facing an unthinkable decision. The costs of emergency care, transfusions, and critical monitoring are rising quickly, and they are doing everything they
can to save him.
Any support—donations or sharing his story—means the world to us. Thank you for helping us fight for Loki.
