Hi my name is Troy MacDonald, and I’m reaching out with the heaviest heart — but also with hope. My beautiful 7-year-old child Linkin has been diagnosed with a critical heart condition that requires open-heart surgery within the next 30 days. The procedure is urgent, and without it, their health — and future — is at serious risk.

As any parent can imagine, this is the most terrifying situation we’ve ever faced. While we are working closely with doctors and doing everything possible, the cost of surgery, hospital stays, medications, travel, and recovery care is overwhelming as We’re currently looking at $5,000 in uncovered expenses that as a single dad of two simply can’t afford on our own.
