Hello my name is Leanne and I am a student at UC Davis. I am interning in Sacramento over the summer and discovered a colony of feral cats living in a parking lot. There are around 50 cats and kittens that have been dumped there and continue to make more babies. Some are malnourished and sick, while others are healthy and pregnant- ready to make more cats. There are speeding cars constantly running over the cats and we want to get them fixed or rehome them for their safety.

I met 2 older women who bring out giant trays of food and drive around the entire mall feeding the cats everyday spending their savings and retirement money just to help take care of them. I want to help raise money to fund food, vaccinations, spay/neuter, tnr (trap, neuter, return), and bring awareness to / provide supplies for people who would like to adopt or foster.
