Saving Kiki: Tiny cat, Big fight!

Hello everyone, most of you will recognize my cute kitty in the pic. This is my feisty gal, Kiki. She is a 13-year-old, 5.5-pound cat with a huge personality. She has endless energy, a love for cuddles, and a ravenous appetite for chicken. Kiki has been my sidekick through so many life changes and adventures and has truly shown me what unconditional love looks like.

To our shock, she received a breast cancer diagnosis in January after finding a lump on her mammary gland.

Since she is a healthy cat, with no signs of the cancer in other parts of her body, we decided to remove her lump and all of her mammary glands. After her preventive mastectomy, we are following up with chemo just to make sure we got everything.

Fortunately, we caught it pretty early, so we can give her a great shot at living a long, happy life with us and her brother Bundy. We unexpectedly lost our cat Takeout in July last year and can’t stand the thought of losing another member of our little family.

I am reaching out to ask for help to cover some of the cost of her surgeries and treatments. My husband and I have fallen on some hard times recently with me being laid off for almost 6 months, both of us changing jobs, and building my business. So far, we have spent about $3,000 on two surgeries with one left to go and chemo, putting us at about $5,000. I will do anything to give Kiki the best shot at life, even if it means cleaning out my savings.
