Remembering Kerry

It is with sadness that Kerry's family have announced that their beautiful Kerry passed away early on Wednesday morning this week.  Kerry was with a group who love her when she gained her wings surrounded by love.  The family will add funeral announcements when they are available this week.

Money from this fund will be used to provide continuing support to Kerry's children.

Hi, I am Kerry I am 48, I have stage 4 cancer and need your help.

I was first diagnosed in January 2021 with stage 3 ovarian cancer that had been misdiagnosed for 9 months as long covid by my GP. I already had extensive spread due to delayed diagnoses and this meant multiple organs were removed, intensive care and extensive chemo therapy was required.

I have been having ongoing chemo since 2021, however recent scans have shown further disease progression and at present I am not winning this battle. I have just spent the last two months with intermittent bowel blockages in and out of hospital and not at home with my family.

I am no longer a candidate for further surgery at present and have now been put on palliative treatment only.

I have 17 year old twins and they need their Mum here for much longer yet

So... I am not ready to give up……

I have done a lot of research and there are success stories around private treatment in london a long side integrative and alternative therapies.

My aim is to seek private treatment from an oncology clinic in london and try a form of off label integrated medication to block cancer pathways, which in turn is the hope to give me more time with my family. I am hopeful that it will be able stabilise cancer and prolong the inevitable, giving me a chance and more time.

But as I’m sure you’ve gathered private treatment and integrative therapies come at a cost..

It isn’t easy asking for help, especially during times of need for so many across the world.

But my options are all out, which is why I’m asking for your much needed help and continued support, of which I’m eternally grateful for!.

Treatment is going to cost around £1600 a month as a minimum and I really want to have this option and not be restricted due to financial limitations..
