Saving Kenny's Kastle

Donation protected
This man has worked hard all his life against all odds. Born crippled, he didn't walk until 14 years old and then took over his family farm as his father was dying of the same neurological disease that Kenny has: Neurofibromatosis. His beloved wife of 20 years, died of kidney disease. He did her home dialysis for 14 years, also while taking care of his dying mother.  With his wife's catastrophic medical bills, mother’s care and bills, his own medical bills, he liquidated everything they owned. Rentals, his business, sold their home, emptied their 401k's.  He never filed bankruptcy or foreclosure. He paid off all the out of pocket expenses. Several years later he was fully disabled but still put his back into digging a new home out of a hill and salvaged an old bomb shelter. It was on a land contract.  5.5 acres. He built it up by hand. Now, the seller is dying and due to circumstances beyond our control we must come up with $65K. I've put all my money in (I'm his loving girlfriend) but we were turned down by banks because he paid off all his debt. That's right. No debt means you're not a good risk. We found a lender that didn't need a credit score, but they wouldn't lend because the rental house isn't yet finished and the in-ground house we live in doesn't meet Fannie Mae requirements.  Then a personal friend offered a loan. We were four days away from our deadline and foreclosure when an old lien from 2006, that was never reported to his credit bureau, showed up. That debt was $6k but the collection agency is demanding $15+k. No negotiating.  My last 8k in savings isn't enough.  With no where else to turn, I'm asking for help.  Please help us save this property.  The plan was to make it self-sufficient.  The upper building is an art studio and bed rental. It will be an Air BnB once completed.  You're donation will be rewarded with time spent as our guest or free camping on our river beach.  Anything we can do to repay you, we will.  The sellers gave us an extension of just June 12th.  We are running out of time and hope.
