What can you do for a man who gives freely to those around him when HE is the one now needing help? If you have ever had the opportunity to meet my dad, you know what a Giving and helpful person he is. He has been a wonderful father, not only to me and my 6 biological siblings, but also to the 12 special needs children that my parents have adopted! That's right...a father to 19 children!!! But we aren't the only ones who have benefited from him. He has been a Knight in Shining Armor to so many, helping with anything and everything....car issues, household problems, flooded yards, Roadside Rescues on more than a few occasions...or maybe even just bringing you a meal if he knew you needed one. But now our Knight needs serious help!
My father has had issues with his leg and has battled with the healing process for approximately 10 years now. He recently contracted an infection that now requires long term IN-patient care. The nursing Level of care he now needs cannot be obtained at his own home which he had been able to do previously. He will exhaust his insurance on the 20th, yet his hospital/healing time will take several more months beyond that. This account is being set up to help him stay where he can receive the care he desperately needs to save his leg. Being on disability he only has very limited funding and cannot meet the cost of his medical bills. None of his limitations has ever stopped him from giving the last of what he has to someone in need. Please help us give him the chance to save his leg and heal fully.
