My 15 year old daughter, Jasmine, needs help!
As a young girl, she experienced long term trauma. This history of abuse, has had a major impact on her mental health. As a result, she has been diagnosed with PTSD and Bipolar disorder.
Even with years of therapy, Jasmine attempted suicide in 2017.
After, her life continued to spiral out of control.
As a last resort, in September, Jasmine was enrolled in an out of state residential treatment facility. The accredited facility specializes in treating teenagers with trauma manifesting as mental illness and substance abuse.
Already in the time Jasmine’s been attending this school, she’s showing improvement, most noticeably in the fact that she’s acknowledged she needs to be there.
We have been granted a reduced tuition rate, but the "reduced" tuition cost is still $10,310 a month and the average stay is 1 year. My family and I have paid a little over $20,000 to go toward her treatment and insurance covered the first month. I've also been applying to foundations for grants and pursuing all options to raise the funds needed.
Please consider this a request for any amount possible, as I am in desperate need of help. This mental health treatment is vital to her survival. If she had cancer I would stop at nothing to save her.
We can offer her no less in regard to her mental health!
