Hello, our names are Christian and Denice Begay. May of 2024 we lost our cat Puff to a urinary blockage caught too late. While grieving, we were given the opportunity to foster two rescued kittens, only to fall absolutely in love with them and decide to keep them.

Jango and Clawhadore have absolutely helped heal the hole that Puff left behind, and while we'll never forget the love we still have for Puff, we were ready to try again with these two new loving brothers

Now, a year and eight months later we are once again faced with the same situation. Jango showed signs of urinary blockage extremely early morning on Sunday February 22nd and after two days of hospitalization, he came home on Tuesday the 24th, only to be readmitted roughly four hours later. He stayed for two days again and was able to come home with us on Thursday the 26th, but after one day of doing really good, Jango unfortunately showed signs of reblocking. Now, on his technically third visit, we are trying to push forward with getting a perineal urethrostomy surgery to help prevent the same loss we experienced with Puff happening again.

Any help we can get to cover these medical expenses is life changing. The two hospitalizations were almost $6000 each, while the surgery is currently quoted at another $6000. We want to be as upfront and honest as possible, which means being transparent about the costs we're facing.
