Amputee, prosthetic fund.

Update: As of  2/15 his left leg will be amputated above the knee, no known cause, disease, why he’s clotting or where infection is coming from. Looking for specialist to gain insight, Dr said what is going on is unheard off!! At a loss

Hi my name is Traci, I have started this go fund me for my husband. In October he had some pain in his left leg, he had just started his job 4 days prior, of course a trip to the ER he had 3 100% blockages, surgery came and stents were put in. 3 weeks later they blocked and failed. To a specialist he underwent bypass Surgery 3 days prior to Thanksgiving, here we are in February, back in ICU 7 days as of now, again his bypass blocked and has undergone 2 procedures and now another lower leg bypass his body is creating infection and when we arrived his white blood cell count was 48,000 we are now down to 22000, much improvement but still in danger! I was told that amputation would happen on Wednesday, pulled our family together had the talk, I let his job know, broke my heart, explained to Rick which is a avid camp, hike and mushroom hunting king!! To no avail his foot revived to a huge degree, amputation is in the back burner!!! The surgeon calls his assistant to see time of amputation, she says Dr we have pulses!!! He states it’s a higher power, I am not an overly religious person, but something happened and there is no doubt!! He has never been sick and have no idea why his body is clotting, the surgeon is puzzled, with the last surgery he was cleaning both old and new clots, and new ones were forming before his eyes, I had to hear this will take each limb and eventually his brain!! Broken, scared and blindsided.

I started this go fund me to help with medical items and bills , and to keep the house running, getting the house ready for his limited mobility, long road and obviously travel for never ending appointments. I have to work but am coming in short, losing his income and fighting to stay above water!
