Gina Norwood is a long time friend from high school. She was an X-ray technician for 25 years until she couldn’t work anymore due to being diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Gina has been suffering since 2013 and has been bed ridden for the past 2 years and hooked up to an oxygen machine. She is on a list in California at USC for stem cell and lung transplant, but unfortunately she can’t get there as she is too weak to travel. She continues to keep getting worse and ends up back in the hospital time and time again.
Recently, she had an episode that has kept her in the hospital longer than normal and is in lung failure. Right now all she can do is worry about how her and her family are going to pay for the medicine she needs and this prolonged hospital stay. This is weighing heavy on her heart and she finds herself worrying about that instead of concentrating on getting well.
I believe that as long as there are good people in the world that we can help them. I know she would do the same for me if I needed it! So please, if you can find it in your heart to help I know she would deeply appreciate it and your prayers as well. It would be wonderful if she got well enough to make the trip to LA and got the lungs she needs to survive. Thank you in advance for helping. God bless you!
Sincerely,
Janna Sabori
