Saving Flap Jack from a life of Neglect

As most of you Know Yavapai Humane Trappers Animal Search and Rescue rescued Flap Jack after 2 gentleman found him way out in the Prescott National Forest in the mountains between Mayer AZ and Crown King. He was in pain and showing hip bones along with rib bones.
Upon arrival he was in an angle putting most of his weight on his back legs. His 2 front legs were shot. He was in pain and very depressed and you can see it in his eyes. It was heartbreaking.
We had to walk him about a quater mile up a hill just to get him where a trailer could come get him. Once we got him it took us another 6 hours just to get him in a trailer. His pain was severe.
Upon seeing our veterinarian and having xrays he has Laminitis in his RF he will need a farrier to come out every 3-4 weeks and will need a boot for a very extendedtime period. He has abscess in his LF and also his BR. His teeth will need floated.
Flap Jack is a sweet boy he is in his early teens and to be in the condition that he is in he has had it ruff. He was dumped no owner as came forward for him. We know that his vet and farrier care will be on going but we absolutely love this boy and will love him for the rest of his life.
Flap Jack is currently at Melanie Underwood Ranch who owns Lost Pets of Northern Arizona FB page and is getting the best care and love. The total of this fundraiser is for the next year to 2 years of care
