Hello. My name is Amara (Ammu) and I have always dreamt of having a shelter in Pakistan. Unfortunately there are many unwanted and neglected animals in my homeland. I started volunteering with rescuers in 2020. My shelter opened in March 2023 in Islamabad. My dream was now reality.

Unfortunately the world has become a harsher place right now for animals. The cost of living crisis has hit many people in many countries. This has had a knock on effect on donations to my shelter. It has become necessary to create a new fundraiser to continue rescuing. The last thing I want is to close my shelter that I work so hard to maintain. There are 5 full time workers in the shelter.
