OUR MISSION: SAVING DOGS IN –40 UP NORTH
This week, I drove six hours up north and spent seven hours outside in –40, rescuing dogs who would not have survived another night. I went up planning to take four. I came home with sixteen. The truth is heartbreaking: We didn’t even scrape the surface. There are still over 100 dogs waiting in deadly temperatures — freezing, starving, and hanging onto life by a thread. These dogs are everywhere. They lift their frozen paws off the ground to try to find relief from the cold. They hide in sheds, under broken vehicles, in the bush… anywhere they can escape the wind. No animal deserves to live like this, and they cannot survive the winter without help.
