After 30 years of helping nurture and teach children within the local community and families of our armed forces, Crabtree Pre-School is facing the sad decision to close it's doors for the final time at the end of the year. 

They've done everything they can to keep the pre-school open, and continue to serve the community, including staff reducing their own hours where possible. 

 

The families of the children who attend and those who have been involved over the past 30 years are desperate to ensure the 4 amazing members of staff receive some form of redundancy package as there is no redundancy fund available.  As we are an unincorporated charity, the staff are unable to claim redundancy from the Government and therefore currently face walking away with nothing. 

 

We know times are tough for everyone, even more so at this time of year, but any donation would be a huge support. £12,000 is needed to cover the entire redundancy owed to the staff.
