Saving CFD History

Dino is a 1961 Seagrave Fire Engine. It proudly served the Covington (KY) Fire Department from 1961 to the early 1990's. It was then purchased by a private owner, who over the years has allowed us to use the truck for various events. The owner is now looking to selling the truck and has given the members of Covington Firefighters Local 38 the chance to keep it here locally! This truck is normally in the Covington Memorial Day Parade and we use it to deliver Santa to the firehouse each year at breakfast with Santa. Of course being back with the firefighters we can use it for more community events. The current owner has given us 45 days to get the funds needed to purchase it. We need your help to keep this piece of history here in Covington like it has been for 57 years!!! Please consider giving us a donation for this rolling piece of history so we can share it with others in and around the Covington area!!!!
