Let's Save Casa Bruna Holiday House

Hi, I'm Patrizia.

Forgive me for your patronage. I address this to the many members and associates of UZN, ZN & UZU and to those world wide of the 50th World Council of Zulu Nation. As a member, I know that community is key to lives. Without it, a few of us are cast to the winds of happenstance. For the neighboring connections I've made throughout my life, I have fallen on harder times than I could've imagine. Currently, I've been of ill health for numerous years and due to a sustaining injury, I've had prolonged physical therapy since Oct of 2024. Between that time, I have always relied on renting my villa on Lake Magggiore, during the summer season. Few of our UZN members have visit and many out of country visitors, it's still a venue of choice. Yet, for the time that I was able to run it efficiently, many who have been guest at Casa Bruna anticipate returning to the Lake for the memories it made for them.

On December 31st at 3.30pm, their was extensive fire damage to the fire place, chimney and a major sections of the roof. Repairs are estimated above my immediate budget. With my only means of support, I never thought that I would ask for help online. Though I find myself near subsistence but for what's available in the community to help, I'm just trying find assistance within the UZN community, for the sake of my home and basic survival through 2025. Please feel free to reach out with what you can afford. Even in these times, can we find unity in the human spirit, together.

Hi, I'm Patrizia, I'm 47 and due to various health problems in 2021 I was forced to leave my working career. Since then I have undergone several operations and screenings, thus being unable to return to the working world to which I belonged and which I cared a lot about. For this reason since then the only income I manage to obtain is the one I can get by renting my house on Lake Maggiore in the summer season, having some friends who host me randomly 5 months a year...... due to a further injury I have remained at home since October 26th for a prolonged therapy to be carried out in the area celebrating New Year's Eve here, on December 31st at 3.30 pm, I was preparing the dinner, while I was cooking, in the neighboring room the fireplace and the entire roof caught fire for reasons still unknown.

I am asking for help to be able to pay for the restoration by the end of April to be able to keep Casa Bruna open for all the guests who have appreciated it so far and will want to appreciate it in 2025 too.....

I am for the first time in my life scared for my short term future.

every little help: manual and or monetary will be greatly appreciated.

I would never have thought of asking for help online but I find myself trying for the good of the house and for my survival in 2025.

Ciao, sono Patrizia, ho 47 ed a causa di diversi problemi di salute nel 2021 sono stata costretta a lasciare la mia carriera lavorativa. Da allora ho subito diversi interventi e screening, non riuscendo così a tornare nel mondo lavorativo a cui appartenevo ed a cui tenevo molto. Per questo da allora l'unica entrata è quella che riesco ad ottenere affittando la mia casa sul lago maggiore nella stagione estiva, avendo qualche amico che mi ospita a random 5 mesi l'anno......a causa di un'ulteriore infortunio sono rimasta in casa dal 26 ottobre per una terapia prolungata da effettuare in zona festeggiando capodanno qui, il 31 dicembre alle 15.30, preparavo il cenone, mentre cucinavo, nella stanza limitrofe il camino e l'intero tetto hanno preso fuoco per cause ancora sconosciute.

Chiedo aiuto per poter pagare il ripristino e poter mantenere casa bruna aperta per tutti gli ospiti che finora l'hanno apprezzata e vorranno apprezzarla anche nel 2025.....

ogni piccolo aiuto: manuale eo monetario sarà apprezzatissimo.

Non avrei mai pensato di chiedere aiuto online ma mi trovo a provarci per il bene di casa e per la mia sopravvivenza nel 2025.
