Saving Buddy Holly

This is Buddy Holly... Buddy is an 11-year-old boxer who has brought so much love and joy into the lives of my young son and me.  He is very energetic and I believe he has many more years to experience life, even the staff at the clinic and hospital were surprised at his youthful playfulness. He has been a wonderful companion, but now we need some help in order to pay him back for all his unconditional love. Buddy is suffering from a cancerous growth on the joint of his leg.  This is causing him discomfort and is the type of growth that will continue to grow until it bursts through his skin, at this time he has to have a biopsy to determine a course of treatment. There are several different possibilities for treatment, included in those are...amputation of the leg, radiation or chemotherapy treatments, and possibly remove the mass to save the leg. We will not know which options are open to us until biopsy results are given. Unfortunately, the veterinary surgeon wants more than I can currently afford to remove this growth and save Buddy’s life.  We have been told that the surgery and aftercare will cost us approximately $4500.   Due to financial struggles over the last several years, I don’t have the money or the credit to even begin to cover this bill.  I really hate having to ask for strangers to help me with this, but I feel that I owe it to Buddy to do whatever I can to help him lead the life he deserves.
