Baby Holly, my youngest biggest horse child has become terribly ill. My sweet 5 year old has been under the care of a Veterinarian for a week now. Today, it was highly recommended that I take her to CSU if I want her to pull through. My mom and I made the urgent trip to Fort Collins where Holly was immediately admitted into their ICU. Holly has what’s called Peritonitis, we aren’t sure how she got this. Unfortunately, she is terribly sick. If you know me you know I don’t like to ask for help. This strong young horse is fighting for her life and I have to fight with her! Even though I work two full time jobs I cannot give her the best chance at life by myself. She is at the best Equine Veterinary Hospital in the state. She could be on the long road to recovery while at CSU if she can beat this or else I’m looking at surgery. Many people would think I’m crazy to spend this kind of money on a horse but if you have met her, you understand why she is worth saving. The Vets at CSU think she has a chance, I’m not ready to let my mustang run free again. Please help me help her. Truly anything helps. God Bless.
