Hi, I’m Halide from Switzerland. When I saw Asaad’s heartbreaking story on Instagram, I immediately contacted his father to help.
After their home was destroyed (see pictures), Asaad and his family sought refuge at his great-aunt’s house in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza. On May 20th, 2025, an Israeli airstrike hit that house, tragically killing Asaad’s mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt. He and his brother Mohammed survived — but Asaad was severely injured. His right leg was amputated, his right arm is broken, he suffered second-degree burns to his face, and his body is filled with shrapnel, including his liver.
“My mother, wife, daughter, and sister were killed in the bombing.
All I have left is my injured son.” – Youssef, Asaad’s father
Asaad urgently needs surgeries, a prosthetic leg, pain medication, burn treatment, psychological support, and even basic clothes — he’s lost everything.
Every donation — no matter how small — helps this brave little boy on his journey to recovery. If you can, please give. And please share this story so others can join us in showing Asaad and his father that they are not alone.
The full amount raised will be transferred directly to Asaad's father, Youssef.
Thank you for your support.
Halide
