Help My 91-Year-Old Korean War Veteran Grandfather Save His Beloved Service Dog, Angel
We are reaching out with heavy hearts. My 91-year-old grandfather, a proud Korean War veteran, is facing an unimaginable situation. His loyal service dog, Angel, an 14-month-old Miniature Schnauzer, is fighting for his life.
Angel began experiencing severe bladder stones that quickly escalated into dangerous kidney complications. His kidneys are now in serious jeopardy, and without urgent and ongoing medical care, the outcome will be fatal.
Angel is far more than a pet. He is my grandfather’s constant companion, emotional support, and daily source of comfort. He helps my dad navigate loneliness, aging, and the lasting trauma of his military service. For a man who once served his country with courage, Angel is now the one serving him—providing purpose, stability, and unconditional love every single day.
But emergency veterinary care is becoming overwhelming. The tests, procedures, fluids, medications, and hospitalization needed to save his life have created costs far beyond what my grandfather can cover on his fixed income. We are doing everything we can, but we cannot keep up with the mounting bills alone.
We are humbly asking for your help.
Your donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward the emergency medical treatment Angel urgently needs. Saving Angel means preserving the emotional lifeline of a 91-year-old veteran who depends on him deeply.
If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this page. Your prayers, support, and kindness mean more than you know.
From the bottom of our hearts,
Thank you!
