This is about my mom Xan Munzer.

My brother Nathan and I have spent a lifetime watching our mother love on people no one believed in (at times including us). We've watched her keep her own savings accounts empty by giving to the least the last and the lost both in our family and outside of it.

Chances are...if you're reading this...our mom has covered you when no one else would. Whether she loved you when you were unlovable or she gave you money, support, help when you weren't worth giving to...or she just told you she believed in you when the world thought you sucked...you know what I'm getting at.

She's been an angel for all of us...a saint.

Now my mother is being attacked by uterine (peritoneal) cancer that is over her aorta and trying to connect with her small intestine.  We consulted with one of the most advanced cancer doctors in the country and discovered a (very new) treatment that utilizes a special kind of chemo that is delivered only into the tumor and has very little side effects.  The survival rates are MUCH higher than traditional chemo but of course...it has costs that aren't covered by insurance.

My mom is stage 4...if we don't act she will have started traditional chemotherapy in a Kaiser hospital with abysmal chances of survival. She's been crying over the pain for hours on end and throwing up.  My brother's new baby Connor will soon be born and my mom would really like to live to meet her grandson.

This is a RIGHT NOW TODAY decision you make.  
If you have to use a line of credit or borrow or take a little from a saving account, etc...

I'm urging you to do it. 

I assure you I'm not exagerrating any part of the urgency with which I'm writing. This is absolutely life or death and we have a treatment that has been incredibly successful on more than 40,000 patients over several decades (primarily in China).  American Dr's are waiting to perform the procedure as soon as we have your funding.

My pride is gone. My heart is overflowing and my brother and I are NOT willing to let death steal our mother away from the life she loves.
