Ciao a tutti! Sono Silvia De Martin Pinter, studentessa dell'Università degli Studi di Siena e responsabile di uRadio, la radio degli studenti universitari di Siena.
La nostra associazione nasce nel 2010 sulla spinta di un piccolo gruppo di studenti fuorisede. Da allora non ci siamo mai fermati: interviste ad artisti locali e nazionali, eventi culturali, collaborazioni con locali e associazioni.
Nonostante siamo gli eredi della primissima radio universitaria italiana e nonostante la nostra presenza sia importante per l'intera comunità universitaria (dall'ateneo agli studenti), a oggi ci troviamo con molte attività in cantiere e un conto in rosso.
Malgrado l'aiuto dell'Università degli Studi di Siena, che ci concede gli spazi dove svolgere il nostro lavoro, a causa di alcune vicissitudini le spese per tenere attive le trasmissioni e il magazine sono diventate troppo onerose per essere sostenute solo con le quote associative.
I soldi raccolti ci aiuteranno a pagare la SIAE, l'SCF, l'affitto del server e la manutenzione dell'attrezzatura. Pareggiando il bilancio avremmo in futuro fondi per organizzare eventi grazie ai quali ci sostenteremo negli anni a venire al fine di proseguire nel nostro intento: essere il ponte tra l'Università e le esigenze degli studenti.
Una volta raccolta la cifra, la preleveremo e la metteremo sul conto dove raccogliamo tutti i soldi della radio (il mio) per pagare le fatture di cui sopra. L'associazione quindi riceverà i soldi tramite il pagamento delle fatture e, se ci dovesse essere un esubero, in contanti.
Il vostro aiuto ci permetterà di poter continuare a tenere viva la nostra associazione destinata altrimenti alla chiusura prima della fine dell'anno accademico.
Siamo tutti studenti universitari, volontari all'interno di uRadio, che hanno trovato in questa realtà un luogo dove esprimersi, riunirsi e sentirsi parte di una comunità, acquisendo competenze pratiche che difficilmente si trovano nei libri.
Per coloro che doneranno ci sarà la possibilità di partecipare a uno dei nostri programmi.

Hi everybody! I am Silvia De Martin Pinter, student at the University of Siena and manager of uRadio, the web radio of Siena college students.
Our association was born in 2010 thanks to a small group of students from all over Italy. From then we never stopped: interwiews to local and national artists, cultural events and collaborations with bars and associations.
Although we are the heirs of the very first italian college radio, and although our work is important for the entire university's community, today we find ourselves full of activities and with no money.
Despite the help of the University of Siena, that gives us a place to work in, the expances to keep the radio and the magazine became too high to be paid only with the memebership fees.
Your money will help us pay for SIAE and SCF ( the firms for copyright in Italy), server and the manteinance of our equipment.
When we will collect the money we'll put them in the bank account were were we keep all the radio's money (mine) to pay the invoices. The radio will receive the money in the form of an invoice payment and if there will still be money left, by cash.
If we balance the budget we will have in the future necessary funds to organize events to sostein ourselves in the following years.
In this way, we will keep pursuing our goal: to be the bridge between University and students.
Your help will allow us to keep our association alive. Otherwise we will be forced to shut down before the end of the accademic year.
We are all students and we are volunteering for uRadio and we have found a place to express ourselves, to meet and to feel like a community.
We also can acquire pratical skills outside university's classes.
For those who will donate there will be the possibility of taking part in one of our programmes.
