My foster kitten Lulu needs help! I would not normally do this, but as a last ditch effort to save her life I am raising money for her surgery. Lulu was born with a polyp that is starting to block her airway, and without removal she will not survive :(
For those who don't already know, I work at an animal shelter in Maine called Coastal Humane Society. The good news is CHS has an amazing amount of resources they use to save animals every day. Just a couple weeks ago the clinic saved not one, but two cats that had been shot. The bad news is that the clinic is now running out of funds and cannot afford any more extensive surgeries.
Patrick and I frequently foster kittens until they are big enough or healthy enough to get adopted. We would love to see Lulu go to her forever home instead of the alternative. Please consider donating, in the shelter world even just $5 goes a long long way!
