Save Spud: Help Jeff Lunsford Heal
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Laci Lunsford-Davis and my dad, Jeff "Spud" Lunsford, needs your help.
Jeff was hospitalized in the middle of October. What everyone thought would be a long weekend at the hospital has turned into multiple weeks with a very serious, persistent infection. At this point, the doctors believe he will recover but he is still hospitalized without a clear discharge date and the best estimates for his hospital stay are another 2-4 weeks. We do know that he will need some ongoing medical care after he returns home.
When this illness struck, Jeff was working on rebuilding and reopening his business, Spud's Emporium of Comics and Games. He was also running his t-shirt business, Zero Gravity T-Shirt Company. As the only operator of Zero Gravity and the Spud of Spud's Emporium, both businesses are closed indefinitely while he is ill. He is anxious to get back to work and any support towards the goal of healing also supports him getting back to work.
Jeff and his family needs your financial support at this time. Any money donated would go to help cover medical expenses that are not covered by insurance, gas/travel money for his wife and children to visit him since he is hospitalized an hour away from home, and daily life expenses (utilities, monthly bills) since he is missing work and has no short term disability insurance.
This hospitalization has already taken it's toll on the family so any support you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Jeff and I thank you very much for reading his story.
