Sprocket was a lonely orphan puppy on the side of the road in rural Oklahoma. Natalie, Sprocket's mommy, found Sprocket during a very sad time in her life. Natalie had just lost her dad in a tragic car accident.
Natalie was still in college and considered Sprocket to be her Angel sent from above, a little gift from her daddy to be her pillow to cry on. Sprocket carried Natalie through a very challenging time, and as time would tell, Sprocket would continue to be Natalie’s saving grace.
While in college, Natalie fell in love with Art, they married and Sprocket moved to Japan for their next adventure, while Art served our country in the US Air Force. Natalie and Art tried really hard to have babies without success, so Sprocket remained their one and only baby.
Unbelievable tragedy struck Natalie and Sprocket two years ago, when Natalie's loving husband and Sprocket's loving daddy was killed in a skiing accident.
Once again, Natalie's Angel helped Natalie survive the unthinkable. Now, two days away from the second anniversary of losing Art, Natalie has been told Sprocket likely has cancer. She needs a $10,000 surgery to remove a fluid-filled mass and part of her lung.
