Save Sabarimala-USA Movement
Dear Friend,
I would like to introduce and welcome you to the Save Sabarimala movement formed in USA. You must be aware of the recent Supreme Court of India verdict on a case regarding the entry of young women into the Sabarimala shrine. The court without soliciting inputs from believers and spiritual leadership, has ruled that the traditional customs followed for centuries which emphasized women between the ages of 10 and 50 waiting to enter the temple till they are above the age of 50, be overturned overnight. We, the people of Indian origin living in USA are very much concerned and disappointed about this verdict. The Save Sabarimala-USA movement is committed to challenge the Supreme Court verdict legally and establish status quo of Sabarimala’s existing customs.
We recently formed Sabarimala Karmasamiti-USA with the leaders of various Hindu organizations functioning in North America to lead the activities of Save Sabarimala-USA movement.
The main purpose of the Sabarimala Karmasamiti-USA is to create awareness of the Sabarimala issue among the public from the viewpoint of the people of Hindu faith and to financially support the legal challenges necessary to preserve the customs, rituals and traditions of Sabarimala temple.

Note: The GoFundMe fundraising campaign is organized by Mr. Surendran Nair of Detroit, Michigan (former President of Kerala Hindus of North America) and Mr. Presannan Pillai of Oak Brook, Illinois (Trustee Board Member of Kerala Hindus of North America - 2015-19 term).
