Teddy was on the euthanasia list at a local municipal shelter when he was rescued by Houston Pets Alive!
He was being treated for an upper respiratory
infection, but while on his walk Monday night he could barely breathe- like he wasn't getting enough oxygen.
We rushed him to Westbury Animal Hospital where veterinarians discovered that not only did he seem to have pneumonia, but he was also shot at least 4 times. These wounds couldn't be seen externally, but were discovered during X-Rays.
Teddy is only 1 year old and fighting for his life. He is currently on oxygen and will need surgery.
Teddy has only been with us a few days, but we already know him to be a rambunctious and loving pup.
Please help us give Teddy this chance and show him the kindness he has scarce seen in his short life. We need your help TODAY!
