Cody health update...

What was supposed to be an x-ray for a possible knee ligament tear turned into something much harder to hear - 2 ACL tears and a high likelihood of cancer in his hip bone... :(

If you know me at all, you've definitely heard about Cody (aka peanut or snuggler). If you've spent even a minute with Cody, you know exactly how easy he is to love. It's impossible for me to put into words what he means to me. I feel like anything I say would be an understatement.

How do you honor someone that's done nothing but love you unconditionally, bring you daily joy and laughter, and has always been there for you for almost 11 years?

All I can offer in this moment is to fight for him, for as long as he is willing to fight for himself.

This is only the beginning of a long road ahead of us, but with tons of hope and a little bit of luck, he'll come out the other side of this healthy again.
