#SaveOurMajors UWSP Organizing Fund

What if $13 could save 13 majors? We are reaching out to students, alumni, and friends of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to help fund our organizing campaign to save 13 majors that the administration is proposing for elimination from the curriculum - all of them core programs that any comprehensive 4-year university offers.

We worked with a Wisconsin vendor to print hundreds of yard signs showing support for the 13 majors, and these are now going in the ground throughout central Wisconsin. We also have costs associated with organizing rallies and maintaining our online presence. We appreciate anything you can spare to help offset these costs!

The community knows the eliminations will devastate the university and local economy. The more we pressure the administration, the more they will realize they need to look at budget alternatives that preserve what it means to be a comprehensive 4-year university.

Donate $13 to save 13 majors! Stand up for public education in Wisconsin and #SaveOurMajors!

TRANSPARENCY DISCLAIMER: This organizing fund is managed by Ryan Nelson, an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. A separate bank account has been set up to collect and disburse organizing funds. Information on how we are using the money is linked and shared here via updates. Any funds left over after all needed campaign materials have been purchased will be donated to UWSP to be used specifically for the support of the arts, humanities, and social sciences.
