Our Children Cannot Wait
Every child deserves safety, dignity, and protection.
Yet across The Bahamas, too many children face abuse, neglect, and systemic failure. This is not an isolated issue—it is a national emergency.
In April 2026, Save Our Children Alliance and its affiliates will host a Child Protection Training & Reform Symposium to be held in Nassau, Bahamas. This is not a symbolic event—it is a working symposium designed to deliver real solutions.
What We’re Doing
We are bringing internationally recognized child protection experts together with Bahamian professionals for an intensive weekend of action:
- Focused training sessions
- Strategic roundtable discussions
- Solution-driven working meetings
Topics include:
- Child safeguarding frameworks & policy reform
- Trauma-informed, survivor-centered care
- Inter-agency collaboration & case management
- Prevention strategies & community-based interventions
- Accountability, reporting systems, and child advocacy
The goal: produce actionable recommendations that strengthen national child protection systems—immediately and sustainably in The Bahamas.
Why Your Support Matters
To make this symposium possible, we urgently need funding for:
- Travel & accommodation for international experts
- Venue and facilities for the weekend sessions
- Operational and logistical costs
- Training materials for the event
Your contribution ensures global expertise translates into lasting protection for Bahamian children.
Why Act Now
Child protection is not optional—it is a national responsibility. When systems fail, children suffer. When reform is delayed, harm continues. The cost of inaction—trauma, broken futures, generational harm—is far greater than the cost of prevention.
How You Can Help
- Donate — every contribution directly supports this initiative
- Share — spread this campaign locally and abroad
- Stand with us — demand meaningful child protection reform
It takes courage to defend a child. With your support, more adults will have the tools, training, and systems to act courageously.
Our children cannot wait.
Our nation must act.
The future of The Bahamas depends on you!
