My name is Soy and this is for my cat Onion who just turned one year old. June 20th, I found him yelling in pain and I brought him to a vet. They told us he is in extreme danger with how low his red blood cells are. He only has 13% red blood cells when normal cats have 25-45%. He also lost 3 lbs within 2 months, has fever, and his heart rate is unstable. We were then sent to an ER where he went through an estimate of $8500 blood transfusion+tests. (update: estimate got reduced to $7300) We still do not know the cause but he is at life or death situation.

I have been unemployed for a month which already put me in not the best financial situation. Thankfully, I just got a job but I wont start it till late June. When I start, I would be making about $2200 working 30 hrs/week, but my monthly rent in Seattle is $1600 which leaves me about only $600 per month.

Onion brought back happiness and meanings in my life. I just want him back home healthy and goofy again. He has shown the world how sweet and funny he is with his tiktok account (@heyoniononsale) which has total 271k likes. I was so happy that he was able to make people laugh every day. I can’t wait for him to be healthy again so we can continue to spread positivity to everyone on the app.

I want to be able to provide any medical assistance he needs, but I really cannot afford his treatments. I cannot lose him so I am asking you for help. Any contributions or sharing this project will mean so much to me. I have already received so much help from friends through tiktok and instagram which is at $970 right now.
