I’m starting this GoFundMe for my best friend and her beloved cat, Muffin.

Muffin is currently at the vet experiencing liver failure. He’s a young 7 year old, charismatic, gentle soul who is so incredibly loved by his humans and has a birthday coming up. Muffin is more than just a pet—he is a beloved part of our family. He has been with us through thick and thin, always offering cuddles, purrs, and comfort when we needed it most. Now, he needs us—and you.

Recently, Muffin was diagnosed with liver failure. After today’s vet visit, tests, and heartbreak, we were told he needs urgent and ongoing treatment to survive. Without it, we could lose him.

The estimated cost for his hospitalization, medications, and follow-up care is around $12,000. It’s a cost we weren’t prepared for, and one we can’t manage alone.
