Saving My Cat Monster
Donation protected
This is a fundraising to save my cat Monster from dying from an incredibly nasty leg infection due to a cat bite he suffered almost 3 months ago. I do not have the money to take him at the current moment, and the vets around this area do not accept payment plans nor will let me pay it later, unfortunately, only cash up front or credit card. Time is of the essence, so if you can please help me pay for his vet bills, I would be utterly thankful. IF there is nothing that can be done, at the very least, I can have him privately cremated and cover that and the euthanasia costs. I am holding out hope though. For those that do not believe that his condition is serious, I will leave a link of a picture of his leg to show how bad it is. Do not click if you are squemish. https://www.dropbox.com/s/dbppmp1qjkp482l/IMG_20150418_090742.jpg?dl=0 This was taken a month ago, and it's only gotten worse. Please help me, as I do not want to lose him.... The cash needed is anywhere from 600 to 800 depending on what they will tell me at the vet, maybe more. If it is more, I will alter and change things accordingly.
UPDATE: As of May 27th, I was told of his costs. He WILL be losing his leg, and the vets do not think he will make it through surgery. I am currently accepting payments either through here, or via my PayPal. It would be better if the payments were through the latter as I can get him treated faster that way, as the funds will not be mailed until the 1st. Either or is fine. The vets only gave me expired antibiotics for him, and would not even touch him unless I had the money up front. I am unsure as to how long he has, as they told me that they aren't certain he will make it. Again, at the very least, I will be able to have him cremated. So.... I thank you all regardless for your efforts....
UPDATE 2: As you may have read on the campaign page, my cat was taken to the vet last Wednesday, with a prognosis of low survival. His amputation and surgery will cost a minimum of 1,000 approximately. After giving it some serious consideration..... I think I would like everyone's help to help me come up with the cost of it. Or at least come somewhere closer than before. A solid goal for this would be around from 1,200 to 1,400, which will include other treatments should he survive, and if not, will cover his cremation costs if he does not survive. Currently, the GFM funds will be sent on the 1st, and I am doubtful that they will arrive on time. I am hoping that the vets will at least accept half payment up front, which is where I am presenting the alternative to donating to this page. My PayPal account is linked to a PP debit card unto which I can withdraw 300 dollars instantly to the card for immediate use and payment to go towards the vets office. I will take screenshots of my PP account page to keep you all updated as to how much is there, and will be done on a daily basis so as to not leave anyone in the dark. I really do not want to lose my cat. So, I will leave my PayPal here so people may donate to it so that his treatment can be done ASAP.
