My beloved Bitsy - the sweetest, smelliest, funniest little creature I know, as well as my companion for the last 10 years - is in need of extensive oral surgery that will allow her to continue to live a happy, healthy life well into old age. She has developed two tumors in her gums as well as advanced periodontal disease in addition to a possible fistula, and all of this requires surgical intervention. Until the vets are able to examine her under anesthesia, it is unclear exactly how serious as well as costly this will be. She has so much life left in her, and I can’t bear to let her live in pain and at risk of even more serious complications. Even the low estimates are well beyond my capabilities to pay, and I am already trying to work my way out of student debt and so on. Our little family will be eternally grateful for anything you can do to help us on our way.
